ForGIFTness

"Why you every time like that one?"

"Wah! I can't forgive you.."

Do you find yourself saying some of the above every time someone treats you in a way that you think that you're not suppose to be treated?

Well, thank God for this weeks sermon..

It reviewed to me a fact that I've always overlooked in the past.. When we sin against someone, EXAMPLE, when I always bully a sister.. And she says something like "I don't care, don't forgive you because you don't deserve it!".. Indeed, the sinner does not deserve to be forgiven.. However, forgiveness is not something that one deserves, it is something that one receive.. Hence, forGIFTness.. Forgiveness is a GIFT that is given to someone..

With that said, the hardest part is always the part when we are suppose to give the GIFT of FORGIVENESS to someone.. The most common reason would be that the person does not deserve it.. Like I'd said before, it is a GIFT.. Moreover, if we think about, we ourselves are not so perfect after all, so who are we to say that another cannot be forgiven..

Indeed, if we show mercy to other, we ourselves would be shown mercy too!

So why not lets LOVE each other more from the bottom of our hearts, don't squabble, don't bear grudges and be more LOVING & KIND to each other!

Motives and Reasons..

Ever wondered why we do what we do?

Yes? No?

Does not really matter actually..

I was kinda dumb I supposed.. This week has being a very fruitful week, and I only just realised it this after witnessing something this afternoon during lunch with someone..

I realised that for this pass week, I have being asking the same old question in my heart over and over and over again..

"Why is this person doing what he/she is doing?"

Be it big or small, young or OLDER (Not old cause we're young still right my friends?).. Everyone does things for a certain reason or motive.. Be it good or bad things with good or bad motives.. I personally experienced all the possible combinations of the above for this past week..

To tell you the truth.. The truth is that there could be a thousand and one motives or reasons behind why we do what we do for everything (That makes 2002 motives and reasons combined.. No la.. I may be exaggerating a wee bit.. But I'm sure that as my friends.. You people all will be smart enough to get what I mean right? Haha..)..

So what motives or reasons are our actions based on? Sometimes we know, sometimes we don't.. Sometimes we think we don't but we do, sometimes we think we do but we don't..

I know this may some confusing to some, but the key here is really just to constantly check ourselves as we go about doing things..

And if you're like me, always thinking about why is the person is doing what he or she is doing, and for what? You could never know, you could ask, but then again, you could never know, even if the person told you something (A.K.A the person is lying or just not even sure of it himself/herself)..

So for this case, in this case my case, I really learned to TRUST God even more than I have before..

Who knows us the best?

Ourselves?

Nope..

Its God..

For it is said that our God knows us better than even ourselves.. And that He would make known to us all our doubts if we'd just ask Him (And then wait for His reply, may be instant, may take awhile, God's timing I tell you, God's timing.. Don't complain if we think its taking too long, cause know that God's is helping us, so be grateful and don't complain..)..

Thank God for many people this week, the kids of HopeKids, Jenny, the Guys and the whole lot of everyone around me..

Yo! Went to HopeKids ministry to take a look today.. The kids there were so cute yar.. The work there however seems tough.. Taking care of all this kids.. Really admire those that have been serving there for so long.. I want to help out too.. Should I? Hmm.. I guess so.. It'd be a great chance for me to learn something..

Well.. There are a few reason why we should smile..

Firstly, I makes you feel happier.. Its like when you smile, and you look at yourself, you will be kinda happy.. Because your smiling back at yourself..

Then, you also make people happy.. Who wouldn't like someone to smile at them right (Not Cheeky Smile ar..)? It will beat getting frown at any day, any time..

Also, life is already not a bed of roses (thorn-less).. So why make it so hard for yourself and others right?

Lastly.. Do you know that it takes less muscle to smile then to frown? The more face muscles you use, the faster you're gonna get wrinkles.. Hehe..

So.. Do remember to smile always.. Make people smile.. Put a smile on their face.. Its a act of your love for that person.. A simple, but powerful and enduring means..

It really is a great joy to be able to make someone smile, and just make their day, or even change their life.. At the end of the day, its all just about L.O.V.E.. God called us to love people like we love ourselves.. So what are you waiting for? Grab the person nearest to you and give him/her a big wide SMILE!!!

Morning Care Group..

Haha.. Before I start, I'd like to say this update is less then 1 week apart from my last entry.. Hehe.. Consistently putting in entries yar.. That what I challenged you with your blog too! You know who you are; if you happen to be reading..

Anyways, so interesting I tell you, this week Care Group was in the morning.. This is because it was a holiday on Wednesday and the group was able to move the time forward.. It was a first for many of us.. Having Care Group in the morning.. Overall, I'd say that the experience was a unique one.

There were a few drawbacks for me personally though.. This is because on Monday, I pretty much had to work for the whole day.. Then on Tuesday, my boss called me back as a back-up because one of the other boss was sick.. Good thing is that I work for half day only, but got double pay because of the "work stress of not having time to rest in between shifts"

Okay..
So how do all these all add up? Well, lets just say I was pretty tired.. But I'm not gonna complain, cause I really think God never short-changed me.. After giving some money as an offering, I felt that my wallet was a bit empty.. I think God is giving me the chance to earn but 2 times of what I give and then some.. Really feel great now, have a nice cushion of money just in-case of emergency..

So from then until the end of this entry, I was feeling great, and really enjoyed my day with the Care Group.. So looking forward to the days that God has planned for me ahead.. Do hope can get leave so that I can join the Care Group at East Coast Park on this friday..
