Yo..! I'm back..!
Recently, I being quite preoccupied with a lot many different things, ranging from stressing over my business finance coursework grades(by God's grace I at least got a D rather than a F), to some issues I have with certain things that I doing..
But.. This post is gonna be about happy things.. I'm not going to sob here.. Haha..
I want to talk about this incident that I encountered on Wednesday whiles going to care group.. It goes like this.. As I was walking to the bus-stop to take 27 to Tampines, I came across this little boy no more than 6 years old.. This little boy, a Christian little boy(I identified him by the cross he was wearing on his neck), ran towards me and grabbed me by the hand..
At first, I was stunned.. Who wouldn't be right? Then I was thinking.. What I do sia? Jia Lat, what happen to this little boy?
Then the boy opened his mouth and said "Hello", smile smile at me and ran off. I was like what the.. Then suddenly, the "what the.." feeling was being overwhelmed by a warm and fuzzy feeling of "OMG.. So Sweet!!!"
I kept thinking about what the little boy's action, and thought, woah, the world is actually still quite a nice place to live in sometimes lehzz.. All the way I was like smiling to myself, all the way till I got sprayed by the sprinkler when I was walking through the gate by the bus-stop.. The water was freezing cold lor.. And got a hint of fertilizer smell to it..
Anyways.. I think that the little "Hello" by that little boy would be what we call a child-like faith ba.. A child-like faith that believe that you can make someone's day by just saying a simple "Hello" and smiling a bit.. You know.. Sometimes I feel that we more often than not try too hard to please people, or God for that matter.. We come out with COMPLEX IDEAS and BIG PLANS to try and achieve the BEST RESULTS.. But we often forget this.. That it is the SMALL THINGS THAT MEANS THE MOST..
I have this simple analogy for you!
"Small things moves farther, Big slows you down and don't allow you to move really far"
Simple and yet meaning.. Think about it yar?
However, childishness sets in when we allow this child-likeness to take over too much of us.. So much so till the extend where we act like a little kids and fool around all the time without thinking about the consequences.. It may be a hell lot of fun to fool around like a kid, but more often than not, it affects the people around you, and you get "SCOLDED" by some people above you.. That isn't very nice.. I say this cause I guilty of it sometimes too.. Sometimes, the mouth and body shoots much faster than the brain can react.. So got to practice hard to control this yar.. People.. Be very careful yar? Watch yourselves.. (Yes.. In this case we use "yourselves" rather than "yourself" as it is used to describe many people)
