Yet Another Fruitful Sunday!!!

Yay.. This Sunday actually manage to get Natalie to talk!!! Haha.. Never heard her speak before.. Thank God for that break-through.. Bless the little children..

Friday Night!!!

Haha!!! Went to visit the HopeKids care group just now.. The time was well spent!!! Worship was something special.. No guitar lehzz.. Seldom if ever did I experience it before.. The dinner was awesome too.. Share funny stories and jokes about our recent happening and all.. The food was great!!! Thanks Kelvin for the awesome wan-ton noodles..! And they were very kind with the critic of my soup too.. Thanks all.. Haha..! Then the cake that Lay Hong bought.. Wah.. Super la..

Also.. Thank God for Lay Hong that let me hop on to her car for a nice and comfortable ride home..

The past 7 weeks..

Woot!! The past 7 weeks have being awesome man.. Man, serving for 7 weeks in a row for HopeKids Live le.. 7 weeks in a row is indeed very tiring for me I must admit.. But through this 7 weeks, I see myself and the people around me grow.. Established deeper relationship with some people.. Tried out new things and even got to practice it again.. Visited the HopeKids Care Group (Thanks Kelvin for the wonderful pineapple tart)..

Wow.. 7 weeks.. Just like that.. Time really flies when u are enjoying yourself.. Indeed.. This 7 weeks has being a fruitful and joyful 7 weeks.. Thank God..

Woot.. My 1st time..

Haha.. My 1st time? Don't get me wrong.. I meant teaching to the whole HopeKids Live service.. I know it was yesterday's news.. Sorry yar.. I was too tired yesterday to update..

Ok.. So how did it went? Well.. Not so fast.. Let me tell you something 1st.. Haha.. Before the actual thing, during the week, I talked to a few people.. And when I used the word "preach" to describle the teaching, all of them got a shocked.. Haha.. Okay lehzz, the technical term for teaching to a service is called "preaching" ma.. So not wrong to say that I'm preaching.. Haha..

Ok.. So how did it went? Well.. It went ok I think.. So what is ok? Hmm, ok, firstly, I must say that I was quite nervous.. Abit never deliever well enough.. But after evaluating with Hong Teck, he encourage me that I was able to connect the whole thing and get it done despite of my nerves.. I swear I saw the other teachers smiling at me.. Well, I guess its a form of encouragement ba.. But I was so nervous to get moved by it.. Hehe.. I super easy stage-fright de lor..

Then just now received the service guide for coming week's service.. Yay!! Got called back to serve again!! WooHoo!! Even more exciting, I got given another chance to "preach" again.. Yay man.. Going to do better this time!! Pray hard!!

On another note.. I was so happy yesterday.. During and after service I keep smiling to Natalie (Natalie as in my HopeKids caregroup de kid.. Not Li Jia..) and talking to her.. Finally got break through with her!! Can sense that she starting to open up to me more le.. Was playing with her after service.. Chasing her around.. Haha.. She had perviously opened up to Sandra and Hannah they all le.. Now me too.. Yay!! So happy for her man.. The 1st time I saw her, she was very reserved, and kept to herself alot.. But now she will play, smile, run around and occassionally talk a little.. That quite a big step for her I think!! Yay.. She really encourage me a lot through all these.. I want to be like her and take that step of faith to play more, smile more, run around more, and talk even more with the people around me for the glory of God!!

Amen!! Woot.. Looking forward to the days ahead!!

Enjoying a Good Life?

Time are bad now.. Plus, this week is test week.. I've got "prawned" by two papers already I guess.. This, to most hardly seems like the good life that they would want.. But God spoke to me in this, that living and enjoying a good life is not without testings and going through of hard times.. In fact, it is through times of hardship like these that one is able to grow stronger.. Growing in Christ, we learn to obey Him more, and obeying His will brings about a good life..

In 2 Kings 5:13-14, Haaman was healed after he obeyed and dipped himself in the Jordan for 7 times.. Likewise, when we humble ourselves and obey His will, we will be able to enjoy a good life too.. So what is a good life to you? I think what God is trying to tell me is that He has already planned for the BEST life planned for me, but He needs me to listen to Him in-order for Him to reveal His full plans for me to me..

Thus, I want to encourage the people out there.. Be its projects or tests, hardship or sorrow, obey God, listen to His voice, and enjoy the good life He has planned for YOU!!!

A small but BIG service..

Its Sunday again.. Argh.. Next week not my month le.. Hmm.. Anyways, today HopeKids Live service was a small but BIG service.. Small in a sense of the number of people, BIG in a sense that it was a BIG challenge for the remaining teachers in Singapore..

Problems like Eilton and Alvin getting called back to work, no key boardist and such.. But in the end, the teachers there manage to manage the situation.. Amen to that..

Post-service was fun.. The kids were like playing with bubbles from the bubble blowing thing Therma bought.. After that, the kids and some teachers were playing catching.. Wah, I tell you, I see le also felt breathe-less.. Crazy one lehzz.. I can't do that man, I old le..

After service, the bunch of us went to had lunch at "Juz-Food-Court", its the new name for Meridian de food court for those that are not sure.. Had a great time of fellowship.. The "same-name" ar, very funny.. She go and make a very funny comment on the chairs.. Stumbling sia.. Haha.. After lunch went for a short game of L4D.. Not bad.. Got a few 25 pounce(s) down.. After L4D went toilet.. Very stupid.. the Meridian toilet that Hope de people usually go one was undergoing cleaning.. Then went and race the "same-name" to the other toilet.. Give her head-start I still win..

After that went home with the bunch.. "same-name" managed to convince the rest to take NEL with us then go try the circle-line.. So the whole bunch of us took NEL to Serangoon then alighted to go try the circle-line.. Not bad I must say.. Though the station design felt very life-less.. After sending the rest to Bishan, "same-name" and I took the train back to Serangoon.. Played "air-hockey" on her "i-touch" during the ride.. Very fun la.. Keep winning her.. Haha!!

Great day indeed.. Thank God..

No strength?

Recently, I feel that my body is weakening.. I feel the strength being zapped away from me.. Very tired lehzz.. Don't know why also.. Well, at least there is joy.. Though tiring, I never fail to get all pumped up and excited when the weekend comes.. No.. Not because go and have fun.. But because I get to go serve in my ministry.. Strength comes from doing His will as it is said in the Word.. Haha!! Of course, I get to see all my lovely brothers and sisters and little kids that God has place in my life too.. Woot.. Next week is going to be aweful with the up-coming mid-sem test, but this weekend is going to be so special..! I can't wait!
