The Word Of God

To some, it may be a sensitive topic to talk about, to others, you hear them talking about it all day..

For me, I seem to be talking a lot more about it this days..

For example, this morning when I saw Samantha in school.. I went over and sat down beside her..

As I started talking, and the conversation went along.. Suddenly, she ask me am I going to preach again?

I did not had that intention.. So I was wondering what made her say that..

Apparently to her, I've being talking about a lot of what God want us to do this and that..

I believe it could help people, but I'm afraid I will scare people away from talking to me too..

What should I do? Hmm.. I guess since I did not harm anyone, so its no harm then..

Duo Hua..

OMG! SO UN-GLAM..

Here is a little something I would like to mention..

Last night went and had "duo-hua" with Chit Meng, Li Jia and Samantha..

Really glad that we manage to find a table up-stair.. My 1st time getting a table upstairs lehzz.. So much more comfortable lor.. Moreover, its so fun to have "duo-hua" with they all.. Then also got to witness first-hand someone's appetite.. Haha.. Thats about it.. Really enjoyed their company..

A New Habit?

During one of the recent QT I've done, I think God really spoke to me with this idea..

It is said that if God is for us, who could be against us.. We all know that..

But I really feel that God is trying to tell me this, if in everything I do, I were to do my best and leave the rest up to Him, he will be on my side, he will have my back, and he will watch over me.

So with this conviction right, now I find myself praying to Him before doing anything that mean something.. Be it a actual prayer, or just a quiet prayer in the heart.. Don't know how to describe that feeling lehzz.. Just feels shiok when you just let go and let God take over.. Well, maybe shiok isn't the best word to describe it, but I'm at a lost for words..

This is apparently the gift of BizArt 3 for me.. A cup.. The idea is nice.. But look carefully at the cup.. Its a e-Donuts cup.. Likely a freebie.. And if you think about it.. You should know where I'm going.. Thanks so much ar BizArt 3..

Oh.. Then hor.. Take a look at what my Care Group did for me.. So SWEET la.. LOL.. Really a very nice present.. Its like a "photo-thingy" then the behind of the photo acts as a card.. Then they each wrote something for me.. How nice..

Haha.. Another GREAT present.. Home-Made cookie by Alexia.. Super nice of her lor.. Take the effort to make something for me.. This sister must go get to know her more.. Really appreciate her thoughts.. My 1st home-made cookie present.. Super touched la.. Alexia the BEST liao..

Who To Please?

Wooh.. This morning when to do my B.I.G (Business Interest Group) captain ball thingy.. Very tired.. Got to wait up so early on a Saturday.. So long never le.. A bit not used to it..

Then hor.. God threw me a test in the midst of my tiredness and stress to perform.. As expected of God right? Well, the testing got threw towards me goes like this, because I was the referee of the matchs, I had to do my job according to the rules on the Black and White.. Then hor, some teams not happy with the referring, so they said some "not so nice stuff" about me la..

I was thinking.. Hey, I was only doing my job as a referee only what.. Not happy with the rules can go find the head of the event.. Dun come and find fault with me..

The old me would have tried to find a fight with someone le.. By thank God that in my anger/stress/tiredness I did not SIN.. Instead, I sat down and take it as it is.. Cause I know that I can't please everyone I meet that needs pleasing.. All I have to do is please God..

Really thank God man.. Kinda surprise I was able to pull that off.. Staying calm and all that.. All this is only possible because of God's grace.. AMEN to that.. Another breakthrough for me..

The thing with the term "Ni Ke Yi De"

"Ni Ke Yi de"

This term in English means "you can do it one"

In my point of view, I think everyone can do it one.. With the "it" being a different thing according to different persons la.

But if so, why do people keep saying this to encourage people? Well, first of all, its a really nice thing to say to someone as a form of encouragement. Then, this term also helps assure the person and bring him/her hope..

Okay..
Back to why I think everyone has the ability to do it de.. Well, it all have to be thank to the sermon last Saturday.. God is there to back us up if we trust in Him.. Everyone can be a STAR!!! Just have to want to be a STAR!!! To work towards it.. And to TRULY Desire it..

Thats why..

This special WORD really hit me on a card one seemingly normal Saturday... Dunno why, last time see this word so many times also got no effect on me... Then on that faithful day... BANG!!! Dunno why, it just hit me... I think everything was just set so nicely in place lor...

Why Our Eyes are placed in the Position they are in?

Well.. We all know the fact that we're created by God right? But have you ever wondered why our eyes are placed in the position that they are in? Why didn't God placed a eye or two at the back of the head or what so ever?

My opinion to this question would be that because God wants us to look ahead ba... God doesn't place any eyes at the back of our heads because he basically doesn't want us to keep looking behind, looking back at stuff... God wants us to look AHEAD!!! IN FRONT!!! TOWARD WHAT IS TO COME... A.K.A The Future...

Kinda Cool right? God is so thoughtful...

What I'm trying to say is that God cares for us... His got everything planned out for us le... We just have to follow the ways he wants us to follow... I believe he wants us to look towards the future.. And I believe if I look towards the future with him constantly in my sights, whatever I seek would be found in due time...

I feel so refresh despite the recent amount of workload... Its really a wonderful feeling... Now my eyes are focused like an eagle with its sights set on the Lord our God... Waiting, just waiting upon him... And when I see a chance that he gives me to grow myself, I will GO for it..!
